Fawn Hall’s Testimony
The entire issue of Fawn Hall as a celebrity heroine disgusts me, and much of the blame should fall upon the media.
Hall knowingly took part in smuggling documents after the Justice Department announced its search of Oliver North’s office. Plain and simple, Fawn Hall broke the law. As a professional individual who was respected enough to be trusted with classified government information, Hall was quite capable of making ethical decisions. Had she been a 27 year-old man in a similar situation, Hall would in fact be viewed as a criminal, rather than a helpless secretary in peril of losing her job.
