Kevin Henderson, a former Cal State Fullerton guard, signed a one-year contract with the Golden State Warriors, the club said Tuesday.
Henderson, 23, was considered to be one of the top guards on the West Coast before injuries interrupted his senior season, 1985-86, at Fullerton. He missed 11 games with a broken foot but led the Titans with an average of 16.6 points per game. As a junior, Henderson averaged 17.3 points per game and was an All-Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. selection.
Henderson was a transfer from Saddleback College. He led the Gauchos in scoring (13.7 points per game) in 1982-83.
