H. F. Ahmanson & Co., Los Angeles, the parent company of Home Savings of America, announced that R. Calvin Wallace has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Wallace has been a partner with the accounting firm Peat Marwick Main & Co. since 1970, with responsibility for auditing assignments in the real estate, mortgage banking, savings and loan and related industries. He was chief financial officer of Prudential Savings from 1963 to 1970.
