Real estate attorney Frederick M. Nicholas has been appointed chairman of the special committee to build the Los Angeles Music Center’s proposed Walt and Lillian Disney Concert Hall. Nicholas, who also oversaw the construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Temporary Contemporary, will be responsible for supervising the $50-million fund that Lillian Disney donated to the center May 13. The project is anticipated to take four or five years to complete.
