‘Those Evil Interests’

Reagan’s never ending concern for the economic freedom and liberation of the American taxpayer is touching. He has decided that it is necessary for him to take to the road in order to educate and inform the public about what he terms the “tax-and-spend” Democrat-controlled Congress.
As evidenced by the congressional hearings regarding the Iran- contra affair, this country is all too aware of the Reagan style of keeping the public informed. We would all be better served if Reagan would hold an occasional press conference thereby allowing others to ask the questions necessary to determine precisely what this Administration’s policies are.
