Atari’s income increased 39.3% to $13.5 million for the second quarter, compared to the same quarter last year. Sales grew 16.4% to $70.7 million. The Sunnyvale, Calif., firm began shipping the two- and four-megabyte versions of its new, powerful Atari Mega computer in June.
