Two men were arrested early Sunday on suspicion of murder in the stabbing death of a man during an argument at a bar, a police spokesman said.
Orange Police Sgt. Larry Pore said Bonaficio Garcia, 32, was pronounced dead at 1:40 a.m. from multiple stab wounds he received outside the Fuerte Nueve Restaurant and Bar in the 3400 block of East Chapman Avenue.
Pore said Garcia had argued with Mario Caballero, 32, and Hector Azpitia, 26, both of Orange, inside the bar. The three men then went outside and a fistfight ensued. During the fight, Pore said, Garcia was stabbed “at least five times.”
Azpitia and Caballero were booked at Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder. No bail was set, Pore said.
