Carolco Pictures’ profit was down sharply in the second quarter to $19,000 from $6.99 million a year ago. During the year-ago period, the Los Angeles company said it realized substantial gains from the distribution of “Rambo: First Blood Part II” and “First Blood” in the domestic and foreign markets. While revenue increased 83% to $22.3 million, expenses also were up. Selling and administrative costs increased to $16.23 million from $4.69 million, and costs related to feature films and video increased to $4.79 million from $1.3 million.
