Treasurer Applicants Sought: The City Council is seeking applications from city residents interested in replacing the city’s current treasurer, who retired this month. The elective post became vacant when Warren G. Hall retired Aug. 17. The salary for the interim position is $723 a month. Those interested can submit resumes by Sept. 15 to City Clerk Alicia Wentworth at 2000 Main St., Huntington Beach, 92648. In accordance with the Huntington Beach City Charter, a general election for the city treasurer’s office will be held before expiration of the interim term.
