Dodgers Need Changes Starting at Very Top
- Share via
On August 21, Ross Porter informed his listeners that the “pitching is just not there this year.” As of August 23, Dodger pitching is second in the league in earned runs allowed and Dodger batters are last in runs batted in.
Does Ross, the statistics wizard, not know what the average fan knows? Dodger pitching is fine, and with Tim Raines, they would probably be in first place.
Did the owners have a “gentlemen’s conspiracy” regarding free agents? Is Ross a house man? Will the Dodgers draw 3 million, even if they finish last? Is the Pope a Catholic?
