A gunman shot pellets at an Orange County Rapid Transit District bus twice in one day, with at least one pellet striking the bus, sheriff’s deputies reported. Bus driver Michael Gibson told authorities the pellets were fired at him in the afternoon and evening from the same Artesia address. The shootings occurred near Elaine Street as Gibson drove west on South Street, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Fidel Gonzales. No injuries were reported, although one pellet pierced the driver’s window during the first attack, Gonzales said.
