Buena Park : Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Car

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a car, police said Tuesday.
David Malcolm Balbirnie II of Buena Park was eastbound on Malvern Avenue about 6 p.m. Monday when he collided with a westbound Buick that was turning left onto Falls Way, Buena Park Police Officer Richard McMillen said.
Balbirnie was transported to Medical Center of La Mirada, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 7 p.m., McMillen said.
Police did not release the name of the car’s driver. No citations have been issued and an investigation is continuing, McMillen said.
