Parker S. Kennedy has been elected to the board of First American Financial Corp., filling one vacancy left by the resignations of members John Kerr and Gerald Stool earlier this year.
Kennedy was appointed executive vice president of the Santa Ana-based company in 1986 and has served as executive vice president of the firm’s principal subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Co., since 1984. He joined the company in 1977.
Kennedy is the great-grandson of the company’s founder, C.E. Parker.
