The Broadway has named Thomas E. Dokter executive vice president-merchandising, replacing Martin M. Kalkstein, 65, who was earlier appointed president and CEO of the Broadway-Southwest in Phoenix. Dokter was formerly senior vice president and general merchandise manager of the men’s, young men’s, boys’ and children’s division. He is being replaced in that post by Patrick S. Kelly, 37, formerly vice president-merchandising information office and merchandise planning.
Kalkstein replaced Robert Mang, who resigned to become president and CEO of the Bon, a Seattle-based division of Allied Stores Corp.
