Rick Finkelstein, former executive vice president-business affairs for De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, has been named to the new post of president of production for Nelson Films Inc. and a senior executive vice president of Nelson Entertainment Group.
Finkelstein will be in charge of all aspects of worldwide production for Nelson Films Inc., the production arm of Nelson Entertainment Group, whose operations include the established major home video operation, Nelson Entertainment Inc. (the former Embassy Home Entertainment, which Nelson purchased from Coca-Cola Co. in October, 1985, for $85 million).
