KRAZY KREDITS

In the aftermath of alleged “creative differences” between Bill Cosby and departed Columbia Pics pres David Puttnam, ads for Cos’ Christmas film, “Leonard Part VI,” will carry an unusual credit: “Executive producer for Mr. Cosby: Steve Sohmer.”
Sohmer, who has a non-exclusive producer’s contract with Columbia, is now developing the next Cosby film--for Warner Bros.--and was out of the country at press time. But his secretary said: “We can’t comment unless Columbia publicity gives us the go-ahead.”
A Columbia spokesman would only offer, “The credit was definitely negotiated between Sohmer, Cosby and the studio.”
Through his press agent, Cosby responded: “The credit might be an ego thing or it might be a result of a feud with Puttnam. Or it might not. Have fun with it and sell papers.”
