USIU Fifth in Southern Classic Golf Tournament

United States International University was in fifth place after 27 holes of the women’s Southern Intercollegiate Fall Classic at the Athens Country Club in Athens, Ga.
Sisters Allison and Susan Shapcott were tied for 11th at 116 Saturday to lead USIU, ranked No. 12 in the nation.
Top-ranked Florida was first at 457 and Georgia was second at 461. Florida’s Lisa Hackney led the individual event with a one-over 109.
The final 27 holes will be played today.
