Nicholas Bingham has been named president of Columbia Pictures International Television, a unit of Columbia Pictures Entertainment Inc., New York.

Televentures is a joint venture of Tri-Star Pictures, Stephen J. Cannell Productions and Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions. The operations will continue to operate independently.

Bingham was vice president of European operations at Columbia Pictures International Television. Bingham will be based at Columbia’s headquarters in London, the company said.
