CSUN, Cal Lutheran Vie in Doubleheader

The Cal State Northridge baseball team will try to right itself after two season-opening losses to Arizona State when the Matadors play host to Cal Lutheran in a doubleheader at noon today.

Northridge has lost only once to the Kingsmen in 27 games. The Matadors will start freshman right-hander Mike Rooney in the first game and junior right-hander Cary Snyder in the second game.

Cal Lutheran, which is playing its opener, will counter with junior right-handers Matt Shepherd and Greg Minick.
