Bolden Wins CCAA First-Team Honors

Pat Bolden, a 6-5 senior forward from Cal State Northridge, has been selected to the California Collegiate Athletic Assn.’s all-conference squad.
Bolden, who averaged 16.3 points and 6.1 rebounds, was joined by Kelly Huston of Chapman, Anthony Blackmon of Cal State Dominguez Hills, Troy Price and Fred Jones of Cal State Bakersfield and Maurice Pullum of UC Riverside.
Huston, a senior center who played one season at Pierce College, was named player of the year. Dave Yanai of Dominguez Hills was named coach of the year.
Forward Ray Horwath of Northridge received honorable mention.
Marianne Dixon was the only member of the Northridge women’s team selected to the all-conference squad.
Darlene May of Cal Poly Pomona was honored as coach of the year. Paula Tezak of Pomona was named player of the year.
