Senate President Pro Tem David A. Roberti (D-Los Angeles) asked Californians to give another $500,000 to build a memorial to Vietnam War veterans on the grounds of the state Capitol. Roberti said 75% of the money for the memorial has already been raised. Contributions can be sent to The California Vietnam Veterans Memorial, P.O. Box 3040, Sacramento, Calif. 95812.
