Pasadena Building Sold to Electric Company

Macor Office Venture, Newport Beach, a subsidiary of the Travelers Insurance Co., has sold the Crossroads Office Building at 297 N. Marengo Ave. in Pasadena, for $3.5 million. The buyer, LACO Electric Inc., is moving its administrative headquarters to that location from the MacArthur Park area of Los Angeles.

Marcor Office Venture, Newport Beach, is a joint-venture partnership of Alison Development Co. and the Prospect Co. The latter firm is not a subsidiary of the Travelers Insurance Co., as was stated March 27 as result of erroneous information supplied to The Times.
