Countywide : Information Sought on 10 Vehicle Arson Cases

At least 10 intentionally set fires, mostly in unlocked vehicles and carports in Dana Point and Capistrano Beach, have occurred in recent weeks, and Orange County Fire Department investigators are asking the public’s help in finding the arsonists.
Fire Capt. Patrick McIntosh said investigations have been hampered by limited information on possible suspects and he asked that residents report suspicious incidents by calling the department at (714) 744-0400 or 744-0504, or the “We-Tip Anonymous” number, 1-800-472-7766.
