Gray Davis Ads

I have noticed State Controller Gray Davis featured in television commercials attacking the Bank of America. If Davis wants to bash this particular corporation, that’s his business, I thought.
Then I noticed that these commercials were “paid for by the state of California,” meaning us, the taxpayers. This I do resent.
When will government officials like Davis recognize that it is private businesses like Bank of America which provide the bulk of the jobs for us, the people? The state provides jobs for only a privileged few, like Davis himself.
Leave corporate America alone. It is corporate officials who are out there battling in the marketplace jungle, taking risks, creating products and jobs--not bureaucrats like Davis.
Incidentally, I am not associated with Bank of America.
