Couple in Training for Paralympics

Recently (April 18), I read about Scott Danberg, 4 feet 8 inches, and his wife, Pam, 4 feet 2 inches, representing the Dwarf Athletic Assn. of America at Seoul, South Korea, this October in the Paralympics. The Paralympics are an international competition for disabled athletes and sponsored by the U.S. Olympic Committee.

I was thrilled to read this piece of news, especially as I am also a dwarf and am friends of this couple. Also, I was glad to see individuals who are short like me finally getting a chance to show “big” people just what we can really do.
