Balancing Act at Irvine World News

I have long held suspicions regarding the relationship between the Irvine Co. and its weekly newspaper, the Irvine World News. Thanks to Mark Pinsky and George Frank, whose in-depth articles (May 29) exposed this dubious relationship, my suspicions were proven correct.
We have heard stories about Pravda, the national paper of Russia, and how it only reports what the leaders want the public to know. In similar fashion, the Irvine Co. has created a puppet paper to influence and persuade its constituents to propagate whatever their cause may be.
