Read your Sunday Supplement about literacy (Book Review, May 29). Just great--except it doesn’t notice that similar efforts are occurring in other parts of Los Angeles County--e.g. 300 volunteers working with the Pasadena Public Library.
Hope your next two articles will take notice of these “other efforts” too, so that illiterates elsewhere may be taken into account--and maybe even helped --by the literates who can read your articles.
