LaMarr Hoyt was released from the Allenwood Prison Camp in Montgomery, Pa., and is en route to the Alston Wilkes Home-Columbia Central, a South Carolina halfway house. Hoyt, 33, is from Columbia, S.C. The former major league pitcher began serving his sentence at the prison camp Feb. 22, after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine and marijuana.
