Hilton Hotels Corp. reported record second-quarter earnings of $49.8 million, up 16% from the 1987 period. Revenue totaled $249 million, up 11%. An increase in the occupancy rate at its hotels to 73% from 69% a year ago and steady cash flow from its U.S. casino properties were credited for the Beverly Hills-based company’s results.
