Genisco Technology Corp., the subject of a 15-count indictment for allegedly defrauding the Navy, said it had been reinstated as a defense contractor. The firm, based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif., was suspended from accepting government contracts on April 25, pending charges that the company fabricated testing information about the production of transducers. The devices measure engine oil pressure on some Navy equipment. The company denied the charges and said it has instituted self-governance and quality-assurance programs to allay Navy fears.
