Glendale 35, Alhambra 6--Converted wide receiver Corey White rushed for 160 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in his first start at tailback to lead Glendale at East Los Angeles College. White scored on runs of 69 and 3 yards as the Dynamiters opened a 21-0 halftime lead.
White’s backfield teammate Rafik Thorossian added 113 yards in 12 carries and scored on a 32-yard run midway through the second period. Glendale quarterback Rick Callister completed 5 of 8 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown, a 34-yard strike to receiver Dean Colvin with 8:05 left.
Dean Rivera capped Glendale’s scoring with a seven-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
