“Open Admissions” was the most unrealistic and derogatory TV movie I’ve seen in quite a while. As an Afro-American UCLA alumnus, I must say that the movie was an exaggeration and an insult, particularly its “sub-standard Harlemese” language used by the blacks. Let’s face it; I sho do bee hadin’ diz movie! Is affirmative action such a joke to the media that a work like this is aired as serious drama? I sincerely hope not.
