HONOLULU — Magic Johnson had 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists Friday night to lead the Lakers to their second straight exhibition victory over the Golden State Warriors, 130-110.
Byron Scott scored 14 points, including 12 in the third quarter. Rookie David Rivers also had 14.
Jerry West, Laker general manager, said he already notices a difference in his team, which has won consecutive National Basketball Assn. championships. “We look like more of a relaxed team in training this year, but we’re still expected to win,” he said.
Chris Mullin led the Warriors with 25 points, and first-round draft choice Mitch Richmond, who played on the U.S. Olympic team, scored 21.
