Reagan Nominates General

WASHINGTON — President Reagan has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Donald W. Jones for promotion and assignment as the deputy assistant secretary of defense for military manpower and personnel policy, the Pentagon said Wednesday. Jones, 53, would receive the rank of lieutenant general.
