Chaminade 38, Bell-Jeff 13--Quarterback Greg Baumgartner completed 11 of 21 for 214 yards and 4 touchdowns and also rushed for a touchdown for Chaminade at home.
The Eagles’ only other score came on a 52-yard scamper by running back Felix Goodson, who also caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Baumgartner.
Chaminade wide receiver Brady Mitchell had 8 receptions for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Bell-Jeff quarterback Richard Coles completed 8 of 17 for 101 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jim Howard. The Guards’ other score came on a 1-yard plunge by running back Mike Cesta, who gained 51 yards in 10 carries.
