CAMPAIGN ’88 : Dukakis’ Movable Feast

Just in case Dukakis does win the election, he already has begun setting out the menu for his inaugural celebrations.
“We’re going to be celebrating . . . with a little California champagne,” he told audiences as he toured the Central Valley on Sunday.

At another stop in Kansas City, he got around to the main course, telling a crowd at Penn Valley Community College that the party would feature “a bottle of beer and a plate of Kansas City ribs.”
