4 Die in Stampede at Vote Rally in Pakistan

KARACHI, Pakistan — At least four Pakistanis were killed in a stampede at an election rally in a congested stadium in Karachi, the government said Thursday.
Doctors said at least 30 people were trampled underfoot when tens of thousands of people began leaving at the end of the rally Wednesday night.
The rally, described by police as one of the largest in Karachi, was held by the Mojahir Qaumi movement, which is contesting general elections Nov. 16.
