Loyola Women Keep the Scoring Down

The Loyola women’s basketball team played a less offense-oriented intrasquad game Saturday than the men’s team. Junior Michelle Bettencourt hit 2 free throws with 7 seconds left to give the White team a 47-45 victory over the Reds.
Sophomore guard Kristen Bruich led the Whites with 22 points, while Joelle Longobardi added 10. Chris Hagemann and Tricia Gibson led the Reds with 10 points apiece.
