International Remote 3rd-Quarter Losses Rise

International Remote Imaging Systems said its loss widened to $263,434 in the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 from a $164,530 loss in the year-earlier quarter.
Revenue for the Chatsworth maker of medical equipment fell 9% to $1.4 million in the quarter from the year-earlier period.
For the 9 months, the company’s loss widened to $1.1 million from $662,883 a year earlier. Revenue dropped 18% in the period to $3.7 million.
