A 33-year-old East San Diego man died Tuesday night, three hours after being stabbed by a neighbor with whom he had argued, police said.
Richard Urban was taken by paramedics to Mercy Hospital, where he died, authorities said.
The stabbing occurred about 5:25 p.m. on Poplar Street in East San Diego. Urban was stabbed in the chest, upper body and arms, police said.
Police identified a suspect as Santos Garcia, 48, who fled on foot and remained at large.
