IN BRIEF : Unemployment Falls in Britain

LONDON — Unemployment in Britain fell to a seasonally adjusted 7.5% of the work force in November, the lowest level since March, 1981, the government said today.
The November figure was down from 7.7% in October and substantially lower than the 9.2% rate in November, 1987, the Department of Employment said. Seasonally adjusted unemployment was estimated at 2.11 million people, down from a revised 2.16 million people in October and 2.6 million people in November, 1987.
