A brother and sister of Los Angeles-born sculptor Isamu Noguchi, who died Dec. 30 at of 84, and a friend in Tokyo will share part of his estimated $5-million estate. Noguchi’s 16-page will named his brother, Nuchio Noguchi, and friend, Kyoko Kawamura, as beneficiaries of 20 million yen ($160,000) each. A sister, Alies Spinden of Santa Fe, N.M., was left $200,000 in cash. All of his art and literary work, personal papers and manuscripts and the bulk of his estate will go to the Isamu Noguchi Foundation Inc. in New York.
