Talk show star Geraldo Rivera, comedian Richard (Cheech) Marin and three other prominent Latinos said Thursday they’ve formed a new company to buy and run network-affiliated TV stations. The company, named Maravilla Communications, hopes to begin making deals for stations next week at the National Assn. of Television Programming Executives (NAPTE) convention in Houston. A spokesman said the company will become “the only Hispanic owner of major market television stations” in the U.S.
