Robert Stewart, a sophomore fullback at Alabama, was arrested and charged with breaking into a car and taking a sweat shirt and jacket during a basketball game between Kentucky and Alabama Wednesday night. Coach Bill Curry said he was evaluating Stewart’s status as a member of the football team.
The felony charge is punishable on conviction by a jail sentence of 1 to 10 years and a $5,000 fine.
