A mother and son who operate a licensed foster-care and child day-care home in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego County have been arrested on suspicion of torturing children. Officials said Henri Mathis Dyson, 41, and her son, Harold Alexander Dyson, 24, were taken into custody after a 17-month-old boy in their care slipped into a coma after being administered an enema. Police said the Dysons are suspected of beating children tied to a whipping post and forcing them to sleep naked on a cold garage floor.
