Meanwhile, Panavision Inc. says it will combine its time-tested motion picture camera and lens systems with high-definition television technology from Sony Corp. to create the first high-definition electronic camera for cinematography. The aim is to provide user-friendly electronic cinematography in a form highly familiar to the production community, says John Farrand, president of Panavision.
