Twenty-two San Diego County high school students were named “California Arts Scholars” and presented medallions in ceremonies Friday at ArtistSpace at SouthFair in Del Mar. The students, representing 10 school districts, were chosen for their skill in theater, dance, visual arts, instrumental and vocal music. The students will attend the California State Summer School for the Arts July 8-Aug. 5 at California Institute for the Arts in Valencia.
