The Preps : Trabuco Hills Promotes Kane to Varsity Soccer Coach
- Share via
John Kane has been hired as the boys’ soccer coach at Trabuco Hills High School, Gary Sabella, the school’s athletic director, said Monday.
Kane has been the Mustangs’ junior varsity coach for the last four seasons. He replaces Ian Stevenson, who resigned in February.
Kane will remain a walk-on coach.
“John has been a real solid coach for us,” Sabella said. “He knows the school and the kids. We felt he was the most qualified candidate.”
Kane has coached for the American Youth Soccer Organization program for 12 years. He is also involved as a coach in the culture exchange program, which takes youth teams to play in Europe.
