Former Indiana Governor Picked as Singapore Envoy

WASHINGTON — President Bush announced Tuesday that he has chosen former Indiana Gov. Robert D. Orr as ambassador to Singapore. Orr was governor from 1980 until the beginning of this year, when he was succeeded by Evan Bayh.
