Patrizio Oliva, former World Boxing Assn. welterweight champion made a successful comeback with an unanimous decision over Howard Stewart of Chicago in an eight-round fight at Praiano A Mare, Italy. Oliva, 30, had retired when Argentine Juan Martin Coggi knocked him out in a title fight in July 1987. Oliva is 49-1. Stewart, 24, is 16-7-1.
